The Carol Benson Award
The Carol Benson Award recognizes one hygienist every year for outstanding service to our profession.
This hygienist should demonstrate qualities of leadership, professionalism, innovation, inspiration and mentoring.
Carol Benson was a WiDHA member and an ADHA District 7 trustee. (She may have also been president of WiDHA at one point? Unsure).
She passed shortly after her term as trustee and the award was renamed to honor her.
