Nitrous Oxide Sedation
For dental hygienists, complete the training required by the Wisconsin Board of Dentistry to administer nitrous oxide/oxygen inhalation analgesia. This course will help you reduce patient anxiety. Course includes self-paced reading work and clinical hours. All students must read Handbook of Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen Sedation, 4th edition by Clark and Brunick, prior to entering clinic. You'll be required to show evidence of current licensure, CPR certification and you'll be required to give and receive nitrous oxide.
